An essential requirement for any planning application is the visual assessment of the proposed development in relation to its surrounding environment. This visual assessment is a series of images that are termed ‘Photomontages’.
Photomontages are 3D computer generated models that are placed within a photograph of the existing site. This allows planners or clients to realistically & accurately see their development in relation to its surrounding environment.

The process involves taking a suitable photograph on site from a view that will best illustrate the new development. A 3D model is created with the correct real world characteristics, and light sources and camera positioned in this model to match the photograph.
